RELAX AND ENJOY GARDEN AND SEA

Enjoy reading a good book, or simply relax and dream at the “lesehan”, or in the cozy „sakepat“ (four-pillars pavilion) by the sea, or in a lazy chair or a hammock in the shadow of the trees on our lawn. The sea right in front of our guesthouse is excellent for swimming, and lets you discover a variety of colourful fish and other sea life just by snorkelling.

EXPLORE THE CLOSER ENVIRONMENT

It is worthwhile to explore the closer environment on foot, may it be the beach of black lava sand and pebbles, the village or the hilly back country. Neighbouring villages can be easily reached by bicycle. You will surely get in touch with the open Balinese people and the local culture.

JUST A FEW THINGS YOU CAN DO IN BONDALEM :

Village Market

Experience the early morning hustle and bustle at the village market, just 10 minutes by foot from our guesthouse. The market opens from 4:00 to 8:00 am and is a wonderful example of traditional Balinese every day live.

Dolphin Watching

Take a trip out on the sea at sunrise with a fisherman on his boat. With luck, you will encounter the Dolphin families living there.

Salt Farm

Stroll along the beach to the village of Tejakula, at the border to Bondalem, and visit the traditional salt production site there (in operation only during the dry season, from June to October).

Temple Festivals

In Bondalem, visit the festivals which are celebrated at the different temples, mostly in the days around the full moon.
